my other positive knitting post for the weekend is that after dutifully toiling away at this shawl for an unspeakable length of time (idk two years on and off probably? it really is very easy knitting i am just distractible) i am now only TWO ROWS AWAY from adding BEADS

also i’ve actually purchased beads for it now after several months of perseverating about bead choice. and they are very shiny which is delightful

#will i be very cross about BEADS once i realize that it is going to slow me down by a factor of 10 to constantly fumble with a .75mm c #rochet hook #in order to add the BEADS?#presumably. but for now i am living in the moment. of having beads #you can't quite see it in the photos but this yarn has copper stellina matching the bead color #pattern is the booknits mojito shawl (ik very basic but it's also very cute);#yarn is madtosh tosh merino light + copper in cousteau acquired on extreme sale during that wild going-out-of-business fakeout in 2019(?)#beads are miyuki #i'm pleased. it's cute. it will be a gift for 🌸 because when i started it i didn't actually have plans for what to do with it #box opener #knitting
